Sessions are one (1) hour long and I often have another session that day, so please try to arrive at our designated location on time.  

Newborn sessions tend to last a bit longer than an hour, but never longer than an hour and half.  Newborn Lifestyle sessions involve holding and snuggling baby which helps to keep them asleep.  Please feed and change them right before I arrive so we can start right away.  While I do photograph baby alone, the focus is on the connection between you and your new little one.

where should we do our session?

Your online gallery will include about 50 images.  All images are color corrected and optimized for professional-grade printing of hand-picked, heirloom products. This means that I edit for white balance, exposure and contrast, as well as provide gentle retouching of blemishes, lint and minor distractions. Your images are delivered ready to print.

All sessions are delivered in 3-5 weeks.

How many images will we receive and when?

Great question!  The best images are when family members are coordinated but not matching.  For example, say you pick blue... one person wears a blue checkered shirt with khakis, another person wears a blue floral dress, and the kiddos are in blue shorts with a white shirt and a white sundress with a blue hair flower.  Everyone has a pop of blue in a stylish, not-so matchy-matchy way.  This adds visual interest and ensures the images capture the authenticity of your everyday life.

What should we wear?

I'm thrilled to hear that you have fallen in love with what you see. In order to reserve your session date, payment of your session fee is due in full at the time of booking.  Carefully selected, heirloom products can be purchased from your online viewing gallery after your session.

Maternity sessions take place 3-5 weeks before your due date.
Newborn sessions take place within 4-6 weeks of birth.

We love your work, we love you...how do we book?

Travel outside of 20 miles is billed at $2/mile round trip. Sales tax applies to physical items such as albums, and not to digital files and services.  Sales tax and shipping are not included in any pricing and may apply. Additional modifications and enhancements, such as body modification, reverse color conversion, and custom retouching are billed per image at my current editing rates.

What about TRAVEL, taxes and custom edits?

I accept checks for your session fee.  Credit cards may be used to purchase heirloom products and digital collections through your online viewing gallery.
