You know, sometimes things don’t always go as planned.  Like this week I was going to blog this super sweet family session but then my son got pneumonia.  I had to watch him every second of the day and night for five days and I drank so much coffee that I couldn’t type- real life here folks!

This family session was set up to be amazing – great location, cute outfits, family visiting from out of town.  And you know what?  There were a few hiccups, like when none of the kiddos wanted their picture taken or when their faces were covered in crackers or when they were screaming so loud the dogs in the park started staring.  But guess what?  This is real life!  Keep patience and embrace the not-so-perfect and amazing will happen.  Your kiddos will be who they are and your super-awesome-and-talented photographer (wink wink) will capture the perfect and not so perfect moments.  This is what should be on our walls.  This is what we need to remember forever.

I had so much fun with the “L” family!  These three little ladies are full of love and spirit and I totally want to hang out with them regularly.  Their grandparents don’t get to see them all that often but I hope they remember this moment of mayhem, this moment of adventure, this moment of love and life happening.
