Make it a generational family portrait and bring your parents and grandparents!  Family portraits are no longer only for parents and the kiddos.  A child’s relationship with their grandparents is so special and capturing that is so important.  A few years ago I took the kiddos up to Vermont and did a portrait session with my parents and my grandparents and I still look at the images all the time.  They bring me such joy and I imagine as my kids grow older they will cherish having that moment captured as well.

This family gathered in Seabrook, NH to celebrate a very special anniversary.  What fun to play with them all on the beach as the sun was setting.  It’s hard to time summer session with the setting of the sun and a child’s own personal golden hour, but these kiddos rocked it.  Toes in the sand makes anyone happy, right?!
